Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computerized systems, and have a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform data entry and order entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
- Proficient in computerized systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in written communications
- Excellent calendar management skills to schedule appointments effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes professionally
- Strong organizational skills to maintain files, records, and office supplies
