Senior Accountant
Ripple Management Group Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee salaries
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop financial strategies and goals
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Prepare regulatory reports as required by government agencies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Prepare audit schedules and departmental-financial reports
-Responsible for revenue reconciliations, deposits, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses
- Act as the liaison with the organization's auditors and prepare all required schedules to complete the annual audit
Skills:
- Experience Needed *** ( Internal book record, Quick Books system a must )
- 5 or more years of accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite
- Experience in public accounting is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prepare accurate financial reports
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis techniques
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of a BA in accountant required
- CPA preferred
- Experience and knowledge with accounting software, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook and Quick Book.
