Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the store shelves are properly stocked and organized. This is a vital role in maintaining a positive customer experience and ensuring efficient operations.
Duties:
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments
- Organize and stock merchandise on store shelves
- Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock situations
- Assist customers with locating products and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail or stocking preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for assisting customers over the phone
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly stockroom
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
