We are seeking a dependable receptionist for our home health agency to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to our administrator and employees and assisting in daily office needs. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, organizing patient charts, filing records, faxing documentation, email correspondence, and invoices. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful receptionist should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and maintain a filing system
- Keep track of invoices and payments
- Answer patient, doctors, hospital, and therapy agency inquiries
Skills
- Knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Word and Excel)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Experience in a receptionist role ( in medical field) is a plus.
