Job Summary:
BDSC is looking for a CHHA Training Program Coordinator & Instructor to certify home health aides with the State of New Jersey. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CHHA Training Instructor to join our team. The Training Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
Duties:
- Develop training programs and materials based on organizational needs and objectives
- Deliver training sessions to employees, both in-person and virtually
- Conduct assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce learning
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development
CHHA Training Program Coordinator:&Training Instructor Requirements:
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing (B.S.N.) is required* Registered nurse currently licensed in the State of New Jersey.
* Registered nurse for at least two years preceding application.
* At least one year of community health, public health or home care experience.
* At least six months’ experience supervising homemaker-home health aides.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Training Instructor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Proficient in using learning management systems and other training software
- Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
