Murietta Hot Springs Resort is looking for a Purchasing/Receiving Clerk to assist the Purchasing Manager with filling our internal inventory needs. Making sure our products, and supplies operate smoothly. You will create purchase orders and track the incoming items to help ensure that there will not be any unforeseen interruptions to production.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Assist delivery drivers with unloading.
- Ensure the driver's manifest and received packages match.
- Ensure packages are staged in the appropriate location for processing.
- Sign for packages.
- Match package contents with packing slip line items.
- Ensure products ordered/shipped are what is received.
- Match package contents to approved P.O.s.
- Verify we receive the correct items and the entire shipment per the approved
- Many suppliers ship in batches creating an ongoing task for many POs.
- Communicate completed POs to the purchasing manager for advancement to invoice processing.
- Communicate incomplete, incorrect, or unapproved deliveries to the purchasing manager.
- Deliver packages to the appropriate business units as directed by the purchasing manager.
- Ensure proper chain of custody procedures/sign-offs are followed.
- Support inventory procedures as directed by the purchasing manager.
- Break down packaging/boxes to ensure a clean and organized tunnel and garbage area.
- Assist with offline PO entries, as needed.
- Assist with paper goods ordering, as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact in the tunnel for associates needing assistance opening locked doors, locating items, and the like.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining new technology systems related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.
- Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time.
- Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill delivery requirements.
- Safely operate a golf cart, resort vehicle, tow a trailer, pressure washer and any delivery equipment.
- Lift approximately seventy-five (75) pounds of equipment or supplies, using safe lifting techniques.
- Twist, bend, reach and stoop to push heavy carts, approximately one hundred (100) pounds.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, using written communication skills to mark completed receiving informant on a daily paperwork.
- Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening and hearing ability and visual ability.
