We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Administrative Associate to join our dental practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment. Your excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail will ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, scheduling appointments as necessary
- Verify patient information and update records
- Collect patient co-pays and submit insurance claims
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain the appointment calendar
- Assist with patient registration and insurance verification
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle patient paperwork, including medical history and consent forms
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or complaints
- Review and present dental treatment plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus
- 3+ years dental administrative experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and dental office software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Friendly and professional demeanor, with a strong commitment to patient care
- Must have knowledge in dental terminology
- Must have knowledge in dental coding
- Must have experience with dental insurances (PPO)
- Strong presentation skills and confidence in communicating treatment plans and financial options are essential
