Job Description
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to support our product design team in creating an intuitive and engaging user experience for our Pinnacle Series customers. The Business Analyst will work closely with UI/UX Designer to document the user stories and acceptance criteria based on the requirements. Act as liaison with developers to provide understanding of the design and to groom users stories.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product team to understand the concepts and create the use cases.
- Improve the look and feel of Pinnacle Series through both user interface and user experience design.
- Work with the team to refine user stories and clarify requirements.
- Ability to break down features into user stories for small deliverable pieces of work.
- Develop detailed documentation of client needs; gather both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create detailed user stories including acceptance criteria.
- Groom user stories with developers/testers to adequately estimate effort for capacity planning.
- Participate in all Agile meetings such as sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Develop and analyze functional specifications.
- Work with the Product Manager/Product Owner to establish and execute priorities of work.
- Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions.
- Support the design team with a variety of needs such as updating design patterns and visual assets as well as implementing UI improvements and supporting marketing activities.
- Collaborate with product management and development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Assist UI/UX Designer with style guide standards documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Product Suite.
- Experience with Azure DevOps a plus.
- Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to develop design and technical requirements.
- Have good working knowledge of Agile product development.
- Experience defining software requirements for complex products using the Agile software delivery methodology.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and clients.
- Ability to collaborate with the development team, provide UI/UX feedback, ensuring pixel perfect design and overall vision.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing applications.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
