Overview: SkyHop Global is seeking Dispatchers to work on-site at our Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. At SkyHop Global, our goal is to create “raving fans.” As a dispatcher at our headquarters, you will play an integral part in providing on-time transportation to our customers, who are airline crew members in their layover period. Our dispatchers are a reflection of our company’s commitment to safety and exceptional customer service. This position acts as a liaison between our drivers, customers, and OCC (airline customer service).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and direction to drivers to meet contractual on-time performance standards in accordance with company values.
- Respond to all situations with a sense of urgency, including documenting issues, responding to flight and schedule changes, and handling crew calls.
- Ensure efficient communication with crew members, airline representatives, and co-workers (drivers and managers).
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of drivers to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Monitor and respond to real-time operational issues, providing solutions and support to drivers and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver performance.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training and developing dispatch staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve any client or driver issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of dispatch experience
- 4+ years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a call center or high call volume environment
- Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English is required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Experience using GPS and geofencing software, video tracking, and other general technology skills
- Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to deliver extraordinary customer service. Provide an example of a time when you went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively with all members within an organization and contribute to team goals. Provide an example of a time when you had to do something that was not part of your job to help your team succeed.
- Accountability: High degree of flexibility and schedule adherence. Specify your availability and willingness to work on short notice to cover shifts if necessary.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable working with various technologies, including web and mobile applications. Describe your experience with these technologies.

- Overnight Shift: Midnight - 8am; $30/hr
