Maintenance Supervisor

We seek a dedicated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in high-speed manufacturing and a proven track record in leading rapid, continuous improvement projects. This role requires a proactive leader available 24/7 to answer calls—the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to maximize equipment uptime and ensure optimal performance.
- Lead and manage rapid continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing production efficiency, reducing downtime, and improving overall plant performance.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and oversee repairs, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures and demonstrating and verifying 100% compliance with safety best practices among team members.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support new equipment installations and process improvements.
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and asset management to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
- Monitor all maintenance work orders and set crew/shift goals.
- Collaborate in planning daily maintenance activities.
- Provide direction and resources as necessary for off-shift/after-hours support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and company standards.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in maintenance supervision within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading rapid continuous improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and asset management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Quick learner who is team-oriented and not afraid to assist when needed.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work on-call 24/7, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials, as necessary.
- Ability to work in various conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environment.
