Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an educational leadership role, with a proven track record of success. Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience (not including tutoring).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed to support staff, students, and families.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a thorough background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, families, and students.
- Inspire, motivate, listen, and conduct training sessions for staff on various educational topics, including bringing in guest speakers.
- Demonstrate familiarity with K-12 Common Core standards and implement them into lesson planning.
- Work collaboratively with parents, instructors, and vendors.
- Observe classroom instruction and provide feedback to teachers.
- Develop and monitor individualized learning plans and ensure adherence to established learning plans.
- Familiarize oneself with test-prep strategies and interpret test results.
- Conduct assessments and research to determine the most beneficial curriculum for each student's educational objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative programs to support students' academic growth and the organization's overall success.

- Communication and Leadership: Strong skills in writing and speaking clearly and effectively, coupled with the ability to lead and inspire others.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems and implement innovative solutions.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with best practices in education.
- Flexibility and Diplomacy: Effective in managing relationships and resolving conflicts with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy.
- Judgment: Uses self-restraint and professional judgment in dealing with various situations and conditions.
- Curriculum Development: Experience in developing curriculum, preferably K-12, with MS-HS acceptable.
- Educational Knowledge: Extensive understanding of core educational subjects and teaching strategies for a diverse student population.
- Organization: Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: Background in working with K-12 students and families.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer literacy and educational software.
- Professionalism: Maintains a professional attitude and strong customer service focus at all times, with a keen desire to succeed and solve problems.
- Growth-Oriented: Strong desire to directly contribute to the growth of Groza.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable car.
- Homeschool: Knowledge and experience with the homeschooling world is a plus.
