Reliant Air Conditioning, one of Dallas–Fort Worth’s premiere heating and air conditioning service providers, is looking for a talented and motivated HVAC Installer to join our team!
As HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for managing and completing Residential Retrofit Change-outs from start to finish; including, but not limited to, installation, wiring, troubleshooting, charging systems, etc. You will also be responsible for guiding and teaching our junior installers on each job.

Job Functions
- Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customers HVAC system.
- Install customers ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment.
- Diagnose HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Participate in all technical training.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
- Maintaining service truck.
- Participate in other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program.
- Current HVAC technician license.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and overall project accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Computer skills with proficiency in programs such as but not limited to, MS office, including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Critical thinking processes and problem-solving expertise.
- Results oriented and customer focused.
- Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
- Work occasionally requires more than normally scheduled work hours to perform the essential duties of the position.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $75.00 per hour
