The primary responsibility of the Banquet House person is to set up and/or break down, maintain, & refresh hotel banquet meeting rooms and event spaces according to sales contracts, event orders & event diagrams. This banquet House person must refresh the rooms on time, and have rooms clean and set for the appropriate functions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hospitality or a related field preferred.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Service Banquet Event Operations
- Complete final Setup of function, by Staging the room utilizing the necessary equipment and tools
- Complete final breakdown of function, by cleaning the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods, etc.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
- Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Physical Requirements
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work-exerting up to 100lbs or force occasionally, and/or 50lbs of force frequently or consistently to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
