Job Summary:
The USA Country Launcher role is a unique opportunity to pioneer the establishment and growth of a well-established, listed Company's presence in the United States. As Employee Number 1 in the USA, you will lead the market entry efforts from the ground up, overseeing everything from market research and site exploration to the successful operation and expansion of retail outlets across the country. This role reports directly to the Senior Management Team and offers significant potential for career advancement within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Early Stages:
· Conduct comprehensive market research and site exploration, including demographic analysis and identification of potential locations.
· Negotiate commercial terms with landlords and agents, and handle legal, compliance, permits, and clearances.
· Oversee renovations, fit-outs, and overall plans within budget and timelines.
· Manage manpower requirements, pre-opening marketing initiatives, and ensure product quality consistent with brand guidelines.
· Launch the first store in Southern California.
After Successful Launch:
· Lead the launch for subsequent locations, building strategic partnerships and identifying synergies in supply chain, marketing, operations, and commercial opportunities.
· Establish connections across the USA, attending food and franchise exhibitions to prepare for nationwide growth.
· Drive sales and business development, developing go-to-market strategies for expansion into other states.
Requirements:
· Good understanding of the retail, food & beverage, and commercial landscape of the USA, particularly Southern California.
· Willingness to be hands-on and deal with ambiguity, working both independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to getting things done.
· Agility and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making data-driven decisions.
· Professional fluency in English; bilingual/trilingual proficiency is a plus.
· Experience in a launcher role or leading hyper-growth teams is highly advantageous.
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA is favorable but not required.
