STNA Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs.
- Measure and record height and weight, intake, and output.
- Care for the residents’ environment.
- Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting.
- Assist with eating and hydration.
- Observe residents’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
- Meet residents’ mental health and social service needs.
- Change linens on residents’ bed.
- Assist in passing out fresh ice water to residents.
- Pass food trays to individual residents in accordance with the diet card on the tray.
STNA Qualifications:
- Must be state tested, have recent nurse aide training completion certificate, or be willing to train.
- Previous experience working in direct care services preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
