Primary Responsibilities:
· The Project Coordinator shall be responsible for client contact and communication.
· Proposal review and Quote preparation when necessary.
· Bottle order preparation when necessary.
· Sample Receipt Login and Review as appropriate.
· Client and laboratory staff communication regarding projects and samples.
· Final report completeness review and release after signatures.
· Invoice preparation, review, and submission.
· Project creation and validation through LIMS.
· Assist Login and data entry when needed.
· Review all written agreements for analytical services between their client and the laboratory.
· Be aware of the deliverables, TAT, and other client expectations.
· Ensure that lab is capable of meeting client’s analytical needs, TAT, and quality expectations.
· Communicate with client concerning project start-up dates, pre-project needs such as sample containers, number of samples, pick-up/deliveries schedules, sub-contract analyses, methods, regulations, QC requirements.
· Issues to QM non-conformances logs for sample receipt errors and errors associated with data deliverables.
· Submission of sample receipt forms to client, and pre invoice or quotes where applicable.
· Communicate with accounting with respect to client modes of payment.
· Minimum Educational and Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree
· 1 to 2 years in chemistry or related field or laboratory preferred
· Capable of learning to use TOL LIMS System
· Must be a good communicator
· Patient through, willing to focus on serving and meeting the needs of their client
· Some knowledge in ASTM and EPA methods and their use
· Knowing when to seek help
This position reports to the General Manager
