SUMMARY
Our Advancement Team is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our larger multi-year grants and strategic projects, such as programming related to clinical transformation, workforce development, etc. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing project priorities and objectives. Work will include proposal and progress report writing and editing, as needed. The Project Coordinator will work with our Chief Executive Officer and Grants Manager to execute project objectives and deliver results, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Supporting the organization’s Grants Manager and staff with the planning, scheduling, and running of grants and strategic projects for the organization.

Monitoring objectives and reporting for the organization’s larger multi-year grants and strategic projects.
-
Provide support to Grants Manager and participate in project meetings, including communications with staff and Senior Leadership, as needed.

Participate in Advancement Team projects, as needed.
Project Coordination
-
Prioritize projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines, and manage supplemental materials required for proposals and reports;
-
Persuasively communicating with external organizations to convey the organization’s progress with project goals and objectives;
-
Support in writing reports to foundations and other grant-making organizations;
-
Communicate with staff across various departments of the organization to gather relevant information and data, for reporting (as required);
-
Support in assembling and submitting grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets, and presentations; as applicable.
The Project Coordinator must demonstrate problem solving, leadership, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals. This position is full-time, hourly, and 40 hours per week.

ENVIRONMENT
The environment for this position is medical clinic that is clean and comfortable. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. In addition, the incumbent may travel via personal vehicle or public transportation throughout the community.

QUALIFICATIONS/ POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have:

Experience with, knowledge of, multi-ethnic and underserved communities

Program administration and coordination experience preferred

Good oral/written communication in English, interpersonal and oral presentation skills for small and large groups

Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher

EDUCATION:

Candidates must have experience managing programs, a Bachelor’s degree, and 2-3 years of relevant experience.

A Master’s degree and/or a Project Management Certificate are preferred.
