GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general direction, the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for performing complex analytical work in the Office of People Operations. The job focuses primarily on collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. Will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to performance management, position review, employee retention, and legal compliance. Is responsible for identifying and assisting in solving HR-related issues, ensuring these adhere to organization policies and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists with metrics and reporting – extract, analyze, prepare, and present key HR metrics.
- May guide and/or assist with HR Specific projects such as position review, performance management/meriting, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
- Continuous review of current reports/analytics and recommendations to streamline the overall process.
- Assists in the completion of mass data entry projects and/or assistance with data conversion.
- Plans & organizes meetings such as the weekly HR team meeting, source agenda items, prepare or coordinate information or documents, and provide & monitor follow-up actions.
- Accurately analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action.
- Assists with designing and automating HR processes relating to information systems to improve efficiency.
- Keeps organizational structures up-to-date and performs audits to ensure the system is current and accurate.
- Assists the HRIS Manager with special projects and assignments.
- Provides technical assistance to departments on human resources issues.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies such as SQL, Power BI, etc.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources Information Systems or Data Analytics.
- Two (2) ) years of experience with a self-service tool such as SQL and Power BI.

- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company’s auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business.
- Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) is a proven safe and harm-free method of behavior modification. All consumer-facing employees of CHCS must take NCI courses facilitated by the CHCS Training team within the first 45 days of employment.
- NCI is intended to support human service professionals in giving aggressive, disruptive, or out-of-control people the best care and welfare possible, even in the most violent situation.
- NCI training provides staff with the skills to safely recognize and respond to everyday crisis situations that may involve more challenging behaviors. It focuses on prevention and offers proven strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Language Proficiency Pay (LPP) payments are subject to successful testing, certification by CHCS Payroll, and availability of funding. Funding may be renewed in subsequent fiscal years but is not guaranteed.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification.
- IT Certifications in SQL or Power BI.
