Overview
SEPHA has established a global reputation for innovation and development of specialised, high quality equipment for use in the manufacture of pharmaceutical blister packs, medical device and healthcare products. Our products enable customers to create high quality blister packs, to accurately detect leaks and weak seals in packaging, and to recover high value products from blister packs.
As our operations expand, this role is based in North America to support all Sepha engineering/technical needs before and after sales. The applicant will bring technical expertise to the territory, complementing the existing commercial team, with the goal of delivering a world class experience for Sepha’s customers.
Job role tasks and responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, validation (IQ/OQ) and training of Sepha products on customer sites throughout North & South America
- Test method development with Sepha’s non-destructive leak testing range on customer products to minimum leak test requirements, to be complete on customer site.
-Final inspection and test of tooling and equipment if required pre delivery to customer site.
- Provide Samples advice/assessment/feasibility if required to support pre-sales.
- Provide technical support to Sepha’s USA based commercial team.
- Train additional technical team member(s) in Sepha’s product range
- Develop customer relations by working closely with the Operations and Sales teams (USA & UK based) to deliver world class customer service.
- Be the main point of contact for post sales technical and support requests from our American customer base.
-Support the UK based Customer Support Team with information regarding customer support requests. Ensure customer requests are acknowledged within 24 hours from initial contact.
-Travel throughout North & South America to support Customers on-site
- Manage the triage of incoming support requests from customers in terms of severity and priority and facilitate these quickly & efficiently in coordination with the UK based Customer support Team.
-Work with the Sepha USA commercial team to increase and promote opportunities for additional sales for MRO, SLA’s and extended warranties.
- Provide initial troubleshooting to customers via telephone, email and remote support.
- Help develop Sepha’s knowledge base with frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- Travel to customer sites and attendance at trade shows as identified by Head of Department.
These are a broad range of duties and responsibilities for this role. Additional tasks maybe assigned as required to meet the current needs of the business.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with lab scale equipment installation, commissioning, and validation of leak testing equipment into the pharmaceutical industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
