*What you'll do:*
* Reviewing patient accounts to ensure that charges are accurate and complete
* Coding and submitting claims to payers and government programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid
* Working with payers to resolve claims that are denied or underpaid
* Investigating and resolving patient billing inquiries and disputes
* Managing patient accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances
* Educating patients on their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
* Analyzing revenue cycle metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

What you'll need:*
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within realm of responsibility.
* Ability to read and interpret insurance explanation of benefits and managed care contracts.
* Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients
* Must be able to multi-task and handle competing priorities while meeting or exceeding deadlines is often required, along with certification in medical coding and/or revenue cycle management.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
