Summary
Under the direction of the Receiving Lead/Supervisor, the receiving coordinator, prepares and helps manages all aspects of getting the raw product in the door and processed properly in the ERP system in a timely fashion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
· Ability to operate a hi-lo to transport material and load trucks.
· Oversee incoming shipping activities to ensure accuracy and condition of shipment
· Assists with defining processes & procedures
· Assists with determining priorities for receiving and managing material once it comes in the door.
· Processes all transactions in Vantage to ensure product is properly received.
· Utilizes ERP software to monitor transactions
· Ensure that the correct product and all items are properly packed, labeled and accounted for.
· Recognizes and verifies the orders for accuracy
· Ensure that quantities and types match with orders, reporting any discrepancies
· Keeps packaging materials organized
· Ability to keep work area and receiving warehouse organized and clean at all times
· Take part in monthly and year-end inventory procedures
· Investigating and solving material discrepancies, problems and issues
· Train back up and fill in staff
· Assist with Shipping Dept as needed. Including banding and shrink-wrapping pallets
· Send accounting all the previous days packing slips each morning
· Back up straight truck driver – (CDL Class B w/ air brake designation)
Requirements:
· 5+ years of related experience
· Experience with shipping using FEDEX/UPS
· Job shop and printing experience a plus
· Superb organizational skills and ability to come up with procedures and guidelines
· Ability to solve conflict
· Strong commitment to accountability and attention to detail
· Computer skills: Microsoft office, Excel, Word all musts; knowledge of Vantage a plus
· Results oriented, demonstrates a sense of urgency, good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
· Must have CDL Class B license w/ air brake designation
· Clean driving record
