The Account Manager at Illinois Auto Truck Co., Inc. will be responsible for aggressively generating and securing sales for the organization with focus on their assigned region of the United States. The Account Manager has the responsibility of educating and selling existing customers and securing prospective new business. It is essential for the Account Manager to professionally represent the IATCO brand and products, use strong selling skills to generate increased revenue, provide detailed reports throughout their travels, and maintain an organized schedule. The successful Account Manager will develop new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve sales growth objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing customer relationships, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. Full understanding of our industry, market, and competitive products will be required to successfully grow sales of our products.
**** Prior experience selling for or to heavy truck dealerships, with specific focus on Parts, would be very beneficial in this role. ****

Key Responsibilities
· Achieve aggressive sales targets within a base salary / commission structure
· Develop and grow customer relationships through customer visits and presentations
· Research and develop leads and prospects into customers, and generate or follow through sales leads
· Report and provide feedback to management using concise business data presentation
· Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
· Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
· Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
· Travel 75%+ in order to effectively manage assigned territory

Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of outside sales and account management experience within a commission / bonus compensation structure
· Proven sales experience selling industrial/manufactured products is required. Experience selling truck or automotive manufactured parts to various channels is preferred, with special preference to experience selling to or for the Parts function at heavy truck dealerships
· Strong experience with different sales techniques and pipeline management
· Bilingual (English/ Spanish) a plus but not required.
· Outstanding relationship building skills
· Track record of over-achieving sales targets
· Must be able to prepare sales action plans and schedules
· Strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service
· Capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity and experience using CRM, sales pipeline, ERP, intranet-based systems
