Job Description
In a role defined by customer interaction via phone and email, Customer Service Associates embody the company’s focus on customer service, support, and success. They play a key role in the sales process, often acting as a primary point of contact for customers. The ability to communicate effectively in a pleasant and timely manner in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Customer Service & Sales Responsibilities
· Communicate with customers via phone and email to answer questions about products, shipments, pending orders, and backordered items, referring technical issues or inquiries to engineering as required.
· Give price and availability information in response to inquiries for bulk hose and braid, pre-made assemblies and pump connectors, working with production when lead times are required.
· Work within ERP system to maintain customer information and ship-to locations.
· Enter Sales Orders in ERP and send Sales Order Acknowledgements.
· Invoicing upon shipment.
· Keep track of lost orders due to stock-outs in Houston warehouse into Pipedrive.
The Inside Sales team works closely with Production, Shipping, Engineering and Marketing. This is a collaborative and cooperative position, and those with a positive, pro-active, can-do attitude are most likely to succeed.
Support warehouse staff with loading and unloading, shipping, and receiving as needed during slow periods.
Activity in the warehouse fluctuates day-to-day and there are times when the phones aren’t ringing and support in the warehouse is needed and appreciated.
Requirements
· Pro-active, friendly personality geared towards delivering excellent service.
· College degree or minimum 1 year Customer Service experience.
· Computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
· Demonstrated capabilities in basic math skills.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
· Spanish fluency
· Inside Sales experience
· ERP experience

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
