Job Summary
Summary:
The Quality Engineer position is responsible for ensuring quality of manufactured goods from delivery to final product by continually assessing process and recommending improvements in our contract manufacturing setting. This position is also responsible for the design and implementation of quality parameters relating to Electronic Contract Manufacturing.

- Drive and implement quality activities to meet company expectations, customer expectations; maintain consistent documentation and continuous improvements on manufacturing internally and externally
- Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment
- Coordinate activities associated with “first article build” of new products, ensuring that fabricated items are traceable to documented standards at the time of release of product into the production mode
- Analyze Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and Return Material Authorization (RMAs) and recommends additional corrective actions; support manufacturing to minimize non-value added processes like RMAs, rework, scrapping
- Create device failure analysis and root-cause analysis to investigate and evaluate defective devices/circuits, conduct performance characterization testing and modeling, and recommend changes to eliminate future failures
- Audit ISO standards in all departments of the company and serve as the ISO management representative of Megaforce
- Required to conform to safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Works directly with manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities to enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution; or a minimum of 3-4 years of related experience and/or training; or an adequate combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the role.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have specific knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 13485 (medical), Traceability, IPC-610 Class II, III, and J-STD
- Strong verbiage of contract manufacturing process (A – Z)
- Strong verbiage of various quality and manufacturing reporting, graphs, Excel data, schematics, etc.
- Proficient communication skills to work with production personnel, PMs, and engineers
- Strong adaptability to implement engineering and customer changes and maximize efficiencies
- Strong time management skills to balance various project build simultaneously

- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
