$110K-$130K DOE plus generous per-diem and company provided vehicle!
The right candidate can live anywhere in the US and company will pay to return home every two weeks. Primary job locations will be in Florida and North Carolina.
About Us: We are an industry leader in implementing design assist and design build projects, leveraging skilled estimating and operational teams to evaluate and achieve optimal results. We collaborate closely with engineering partners or manage engineering services ourselves, ensuring efficient project delivery that maximizes performance while remaining mindful of the Owner's budget.
Role and Responsibilities: As a General Mechanical Superintendent you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the physical construction of projects across the US, including the Hawaiian Islands and Caribbean. You'll ensure strict adherence to contract documents, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining excellent relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing project logistics and supervising construction activities.
- Collaborating with Project Managers to document project progress and manage schedules.
- Leading and inspiring your team to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering a safe working environment.
- Coordinating daily operations and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read complex blueprints.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Ducting, Hydronic piping, and Plumbing systems.
- OSHA 30 certification and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
