Barrow & Co. Creative is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a passion for marketing looking to gain experience by providing essential support to our marketing initiatives. The MA will support our Founder/Creative Director with various administrative tasks, help organize marketing activities, and assist in preparing reports and presentations. The MA will handle a variety of tasks that require strong organizational skills, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the marketing team. Prepare meeting agendas and take detailed minutes.
Client Relations: Assist in maintaining positive client relationships by handling inquiries, scheduling meetings, and providing excellent customer service.
Document Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of internal and client-facing events, including workshops, presentations, and social gatherings.
Marketing Support: Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including data entry, research, and assisting with the creation of marketing materials.
Project Assistance: Help track project timelines and deliverables, ensuring the team stays on schedule and meets deadlines.
Market Research and Reporting: Conduct market research and compile data to support marketing strategies. Assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing reports, presentations, and other documents
General Administrative Duties: Perform other related administrative tasks as required to support the team.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience: High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or marketing role.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a bonus.
Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep everything on track.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player: A collaborative spirit who enjoys working with others to achieve awesome results.
Proactive Attitude: A go-getter who takes initiative with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Position Details:
- Part time (20 hours/week)
- Monday - Thursday 10AM - 3PM
- Hybrid position: Monday/Thursday - virtual, Tuesday/Wednesday - in office
