Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage and oversee our company's financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable and payable, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance team in various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile AR accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions.
- Prepare and present regular AR aging reports to management.
- Accounts Payable:
- Review and verify invoices from vendors.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor AP accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
- General:
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support the finance team with audits and other financial tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable roles, 3 to 5 years
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite
