Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform the necessary work to support production in all phases of maintenance: crisis (breakdowns), preventative, predictive, and continuous improvement
- Perform the necessary work to maintain the building and facilities
- Perform the necessary work to support engineering efforts: modify existing and/or install new equipment
- Perform setup, calibration, and validation of equipment and tooling
- Interact with CMMS/EAM to process work orders, enter data, and order maintenance materials
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with complex equipment (such as a robot) and restore to a productive state once the fault condition(s) have been corrected.
- Work autonomously to solve problems and remedy non-standard conditions
- Communicate unresolved problems, non-standard conditions, and opportunities for improvement to your supervisor
- Maintain the plant’s world class housekeeping and 5S standards
- Perform other job duties as directed by your supervisor
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) + years of experience in an industrial maintenance position and/or related formal training required
- Industrial Maintenance Certificate or equivalent experience
- A positive attitude
- Professional and courteous interaction with people at all levels of the organization
- A strong desire to perform at a high level and continuously improve
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and systematic problem-solving ability
- Willing and able to work autonomously in teams or individually
- Willing and able to take training classes to improve knowledge and understanding
- Willing and able to work off-shifts
- Willing and able to work overtime
- Willing and able to operate a forklift and/or other industrial maintenance vehicles
- Willing and able to stand, reach, pull, lift, stretch and bend for an entire shift
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment (calipers, electrical multimeter, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Office, web browser, email, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Electrical distribution systems (in plant)
- Industrial control systems (networks, PLC, HMI, SCADA, servos, drives, robots, sensing, and/or instrumentation)
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Mechanical power transmission
- Assembly and fabrication (including welding)
- Lifting and rigging

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Industrial maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)
