Summary of Duties:
Primary task is to manage the Achievement Consultation Program’s everyday activities, while maintaining the full scope of our organizational mission and philosophy.
Responsible for ensuring that agency tasks are carried out per our mission and philosophy.
Maintains one-on-one supervision and training of Achievement Consultants and other volunteers.
Provide hands-on training with the specific duties of the Achievement Consultants to adequately prepare Achievement Consultants for the tasks involved in this position (Refer to the Achievement Consultant Job Description for a full description of job duties; the following is a brief summary):
Facilitate educational instruction of our Curriculum Forums within the spaces provided by our collaborative partners, including several education facilities within Allegheny County and Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Conduct one-on-one meetings with participants to assist in the completion of their Family Goal Plan
Other Duties as Assigned according to the Achievement Consultant tasks necessary to adequately train them in this position.
Conduct regular monitoring check-ins to review the work and progress of the Achievement Consultants
Fill in for any of the Achievement Consultants if they cannot carry out and/or complete their tasks for any particular day due to unforeseen circumstances.
Attend on a regular basis, all mandatory meetings, workshops, professional development trainings, community meetings and/or networking events, etc.
*This position requires that you have a minimum of 6 years prior experience working in the Social Services field, and working directly with adolescent female youth and their families.
Strong organizational and time management skills are mandatory.
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate powerfully are essential skills for this position.
Must be able to build an outstanding rapport and good relationships with community members, funders, all organizational staff and communicate with the CEO and Board of Directors to collaborate as a highly functioning team unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Supervise and train Achievement Consultants to adequately prepare them to effectively carry out the tasks of this position
2) Provide hands-on-training for Achievement Consultants, to include carrying out the facilitation of educational instruction, utilizing our unique conversation-style facilitation, of the following program curricula:
a. The Life Skills Just for Girls Forum
b. The Remarkable Readiness and Employment Forum
c. The Smart Money Management & Financial Literacy Forum
3) Provide hands-on-training for Achievement Consultants, including maintaining consistent contact with participants and their families to review goal progression, of a minimum of 1x/month face-to-face meeting & a minimum of 1x/week contact via telephone, text message, email, social media, etc.
4) Conduct regular monitoring check-ins to review the work and progress of the Achievement Consultants
5) Collaborate in weekly consultations with treatment team to discuss Achievement Consultants’ progress.
6) Maintain accurate documentation and file maintenance submission in a timely manner per computer entry/database proficiency.
7) Meet, consult, and work with our team, including the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.
8) Attend all mandatory workshops and professional development trainings.
9) Supervise, train and assign specific tasks to supportive staff and volunteers.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
