The Residential Manager will oversee operations of 2 group homes located on the same street. Residential Manager will coordinate and provide oversight of facilities, staff and youth. Provide supervision and training to Youth Care Workers and staff while being a job coach. Be a self-starter and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Communicate with Administrators of Quality Care Residential Homes. Coordinate with Human Resources in hiring & training process of newly hired Youth Care Workers. Making a positive difference in the lives of youth day by day!
Qualifications
Must have experience in a Supervisory role or position. Degree is required in related fields (e.g., social work, psychology, human services, management, etc.) Bachelor's Degree preferred. Have a valid driver's license and able to use own vehicle. First Aid and CPR certified is a plus. Prefer to have at least one year of full-time equivalent paid supervisor experience in the direct provision of care to children or youth. In good health, physically, mentally, and occupationally capable of performing assigned tasks.

Duties
- On-Call services
- Availability in-person on shift over 8 hours daily
- Mobility and availability to manage all shifts/flexible hours
- Manage supervisors and youth care workers, ensure policies, procedures and mission followed by staff
- Response to crisis on shift
- Liaison with local schools
- Intake new youth into group homes
- Manage budget for group home petty cash
- Shop for the group home
- Manage Youth Care Workers/perform staff evaluations
- Schedules appointments
- Scheduling staff for shifts
- Manage daily functions and operations of the group home.
- Assists with coordination and development of policies in the group home
- Coordinate Service Plan meetings.
- Supervise staff assisting youth with prescribed medications.
- Monitoring of prescribed medications
- Monitor ensuring a clean, healthy and safe environment.
- Coordinate transport of youth to community activities and appointments.
- Coordinate scheduled activities (field trips, shopping and social events.)
- Quality Assurance check of placement files and daily paperwork of youth care workers.
- Training to new staff/supervisors on daily policies and operations
- And any other duties requested by administration
