You were hired to perform an important function at A #1 AIR. As with any group effort, operating effectively takes cooperation and commitment from everyone. Therefore, your attendance and punctuality are very important. Unnecessary absences and lateness are expensive, disruptive and place an unfair burden on your fellow employees and your Supervisors. We expect excellent attendance from each of you. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
You must communicate to your Team Leader / Supervisor if you will be late or absent for any reason. If your Team Leader/Supervisor is not accessible, you must make every effort to contact another TL or the Officer/s. You must also call our sick/late line at (972) 512-0029, and leave a message stating your tardy or absence.
This notification, prior to your scheduled work shift is necessary, because arrangements must be made to cover your position during your absence. If you take a company vehicle home from work, you must make arrangements for the vehicle to be accessible to the company during your absence so it can continue to be used in production.
If the absence is due to illness or injury occurring outside the workplace and lasts for three days or more, a
doctor’s excuse will be required upon returning to work.
Any employee who fails to report to work without notice prior to shift starting will be considered to have voluntarily terminated employment.
