Job Responsibilities
· You will be responsible for sales and marketing efforts amongst long term care facilities (skilled nursing facilities) throughout Southern CA.
You will develop and implement sales strategies, create a sales plan and regularly assess progress on opportunities.
You will visit and call upon facilities that were previously serviced by Polaris Pharmacy Services and conduct cold calls for potential new business.
Prioritize accounts based on total potential, current referrals, likely profitability, service needs, and probability of success. Identify key customer decision makers and build relationships to gain access to all decision makers.
Set account objectives and establishes a plan for achieving objectives. Tracks / records call activity and progress on referral opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma and at least two (2) years of pharmaceutical healthcare sales experience.
· Experience applying Sales and Marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services.
· Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
· Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Pharmacy experience
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Self-motivated
· Team Player
· Basic Computer Skills
· Organized
