Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, possess excellent leadership skills, and be able to provide exceptional customer service. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front of house operations, including managing staff, scheduling, and training
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor and manage the performance of front of house staff, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members
- Utilize POS system to process orders and payments accurately
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of catering operations and event planning is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in inventory control and managing budgets
- Bartending or culinary experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to interview, train, and motivate staff members effectively
