JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
The HRIS Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and administering the operation of the company’s Human Resources Information System, to include providing training and support on the system, as well as leading HR analytics initiatives. The incumbent will serve as the company’s HRIS expert and primary resource to support the system.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains human resource data. The incumbent ensures that data within the system is updated timely, entered accurately, and maintained consistently, including new hires, job changes, pay changes, reporting structures, demographic information, online personnel files, and terminations.
- Trains and supports HRIS users. The incumbent provides technical support, training, and assistance to HR team members and other system users, including production supervisors, with respect to the system. The incumbent manages user access permissions and ensures that users are educated on maintaining confidentiality of data.
- Spearheads data reporting and analysis. The incumbent creates and compiles complex data reports, summaries, and charts, including EEO-1 and affirmative action reporting. The incumbent analyzes HRIS data and provides reports and recommendations designed to improve metric-based decision-making in the company. The incumbent ensures that the company protects the data and complies with data security/privacy requirements.
Improves data management, processes, and system capability. The incumbent develops, designs, and implements initiatives to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the system, data entry, data management, and overall processes associated with the HRIS.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree or 3+ years of related HRIS experience.
- Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
- Proficient in both oral and written communication.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/other e-mail software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting, especially within the food industry

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers.
Physical Demands: The physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting, driving, seeing, and hearing.
Travel: Occasional travel to another facility may be required.
