MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum three (3) years of ambulatory surgery center and/or cardiac cath lab experience as a registered nurse.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Working knowledge of nursing practice in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative spaces in an ambulatory surgery center, cardiac cath lab, and/or operating room setting required
- Excellent communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
- Demonstrates accountability, skill and knowledge to practice within scope of position responsibilities.
- Demonstrates an above average ability to organize, prioritize, analyze, anticipate, interpret, evaluate and problem solve to provide a safe, effective, functional environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and other position specific software
- Energetic leader with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

- Assist the Director of nursing with managing the nursing department in maintaining quality standards of care, including consultation to medical staff, department heads, and Administrator in matters related to nursing service.
- Proficiency in clinical management of complex patients.
- Provide input into interpretation of nursing philosophy and assists in establishing departmental goals and objectives.
- Strong ability to use electronic health records in support of patient care delivery.
- Understanding of the latest evidence based cardiovascular disease treatments.
