Mirabelli Corporation is in growth mode and we are excited to announce that we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our expanding US team. Job Description: As a Traveling Superintendent you will be responsible for the supervision of various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with the project team and stakeholders in order to accomplish project objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site projects from start to finish meeting project schedule and budget.
- Troubleshoot issues, ensuring subcontractors meet contract commitments.
- Keep owner/management informed of project status.
- Responsible for quality control for all trades.
- Ensure job-site housekeeping is maintained.
- Responsible for safety program compliance.
- Responsible for scope of work verification of Subcontractors.
- Communicate with Subcontractor in all aspects including scheduling, deliveries, change orders and plan revisions.
- Participate in weekly meetings with owner, management and Project Manager.
- Assist with obtaining required permits and licenses.
- Attend pre-construction meetings as needed.
- Coordinate all temp utilities and properly layout on the jobsite.
- Review and verify contractor change orders.
- Coordinate with client vendors for installation and requirements.
- Verify purchase orders against plans to verify all needed materials were ordered.
- Schedule and communicate with all inspectors required for assigned project.
- Attend punch walk and turnover.
- Generate punch list and scheduling completion in a timely manner.
- Confirm punch list is completed with Project Manager and obtain signoff.
- At turnover: Verify everything is working properly and address any questions or concerns.
- Save and organize all equipment manuals to present to client at turnover including keys, booklets, instruction manuals, and extra parts.
- Provide all closeout documents to PM and PC, including final pictures, Certificate of Occupancy, signed punch list.
Qualified candidates have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Has taken the nascla.org test for GC license.
· Experience in Retail and Commercial Construction.
- Willing to travel.
- Able to carry tools or able to perform some carpentry work on the job.
- Above average computer skills.
· Experienced as a Traveling Site Superintendent.
· Expert knowledge in commercial building systems and construction plans and documentation.
· Demonstrated excellence in managing the client relationship during a project.
· Proactive with ability to anticipate and solve problems before they arise.
· Capacity to coordinate multiple tasks through superior time management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Works collaboratively and holds oneself to very high standards.
This is a remote role with regular travel to jobsites required.
