POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of the Office of Spirituality will plan, organize, advertise, and occasionally run programs in
spirituality that advance the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph. This individual will facilitate a unified
approach and mutual respect amidst the diverse spirituality opportunities offered.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a deep prayer and faith life and be familiar with Catholic theology.

Training and practical experience in spirituality, spiritual direction, theology, biblical studies, liturgy or religious education are a plus.

Understands and respects various types of spirituality as ways to God and personal integration and holiness.

Skilled in integrating a variety of prayer practices into offerings.

Values both ecclesial relationships and a spirit of creativity.

Conversant with the history and spirituality of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Believes in the value of ongoing personal and professional development.

Possesses good organizational skills to coordinate programs and groups.

Relational and able to work with committees.

Able to collaborate with the Communications department regarding advertising of programs.

Technical proficiency, knowledge, and skills enabling the use of relevant tools, equipment, and technology required for the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, organize, advertise, and occasionally run programs in spirituality that advance the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Incorporate offerings from the Federation and LCWR as appropriate.

Maintain communication regarding spiritual opportunities.

Form a Board with representatives from various committees to decide on programs.

Collaborate with the Council Liaison, Coordinating Group, and Communications Department.

Collaborate with the administration of St. Joseph's Convent and the sacristan of Sacred Heart/La
-
Providencia Chapels.

Serve Sisters and the larger community.
