Position Summary:
Service the customer, ensure all orders are pulled correctly and all damaged product is disposed of and replaced according to Herbruck’s Quality Standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive all PO’s
- Accurately process all specialty orders
- Report all quality and food safety issues to management
- Additional duties as assigned
- Assist the Inventory Department in all Carrier Claims and Vendor Performance issues
- Dry Goods inventory counts per Planning and Processing needs
- Monitoring and enforcing standards and processes in the DG Warehouse
- Reports completed as well as BOL
- Auditing of all received Packaging loads
- Utilizing the FIFO method for storage area
- All other duties assigned by manager
- Coordinate inbound & outbound loads with outside carriers
- Maintain dock schedule in tandem with Warehouse supervisor & mgmt.
- Monitor logistics issues to distribution team
- Provide administrative support for warehouse staff
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Warehouse II position for at least 18-24 months
- No written warning for attendance or conduct
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned.
- Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds
- Knowledge of specialty orders
- Advanced CAT2 knowledge and perform within CAT2
- Complete and able to process all Warehouse II position duties
- All SQF courses completed no corrective actions
- Must be able to follow all HACCP and GMP guidelines
- Completion of Leadership Courses-LMS
- Pass Warehouse II OJT assessment and observation – if promoting
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, lift, and push up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day
