Position Overview: Are you an energetic individual who loves all things from custom prop decor to video and lighting components and thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy hands-on work and have a knack for organization? High Desert Event Services is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team for the summer. This role is vital to our daily operations, involving the movement of items and contributing to the seamless organization of our warehouse. This is a temporary position available until August with the possibility of further growth in the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move items within the warehouse, ensuring they are placed in their designated locations.
- Safely lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to inventory management and control, including periodic stock checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed (training provided if necessary).
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Handyman skills are a huge plus!
