Vouchers 4 Veggies – EatSF (V4V) is an innovative healthy food voucher program aimed at increasing access and affordability of healthy foods for low-income households. V4V not only provides people with crucial resources to purchase healthy food and improve their health, but also helps address food deserts by supporting the ability of food vendors to stock fresh produce. V4V is an evidence-based program whose outcomes consistently demonstrate improved food security, diet quality, and increased access to healthy food. V4V operates in partnership with dozens of local community-based organizations to reach thousands of low-income households and the program, which has been nationally recognized as a model for improving nutrition security in underserved communities, has been replicated in communities across the country.
V4V is a program of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP), housed within the UCSF Division of General Internal Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. The CVP carries out innovative research dedicated to improving health and reducing disparities through discovery, advocacy, and community partnerships.V4V seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented administrative assistant to ensure the high impact program continues operate efficiently and effectively. This position will support the growing administrative needs of the V4V program, including oversight of benefits inventory, voucher processing and preparation of disbursement requests for vendor reimbursements, assisting with customer service and vendor relations, submitting expense rep orders, and providing administrative support to the Executive Director (for example, manage their calendar).

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
