The OBGYN Research Division seeks an experienced and exceptional Project Manager to join our Research Division.
Summary:
The Project Manager oversees and manages the research grant portfolios of clinical investigators within the Department of OBGYN. The Project Manager performs administrative, financial, and pre-and post-award budgetary functions supporting departmental research activities. The Project Manager works independently, planning, executing, and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle of research awards (from conception to close-out).
This position reports to the Director of Business Operations and Finance but interacts regularly with the Manager of Business Operations and Finance, Chair, Department of OBGYN Director of Research, Clinical Faculty, and staff involved in research. In addition, the incumbent must establish and maintain professional relationships with the Offices of Sponsored Research and Grants and Contracts. The incumbent facilitates problem-solving, decision-making, and change management, taking prudent actions to accomplish project objectives under minimal supervision.
