The Family Support Coach works in partnership with the Family Services Manager to facilitate the implementation of community play groups. Primary duties include offering support services to Child Care Aware Family Friends and Neighbor participants and community partners as a Kaleidoscope Plan & Learn Program Facilitator in Eastern Washington. This position will also advocate for caregivers in early learning programs and support access to relevant community services. This individual will also facilitate virtual and in-person play groups related to the Recovering Families Play & Learn and Early Connection Play & Learn models and assist with monthly family events. This is a fully benefited, full-time position with an annual salary range of $38,903.63 to $42,511.04 paid bi-weekly.

How You'll Contribute:
- Works with the Family Services team to facilitate the implementation of Play & Learn Groups
- Monitors Play & Learn inventory and supplies.
- Responsible for cleaning, organizing, and inspecting material to ensure proper sanitization and safety.
- Work in collaboration with the Family Services Coordinator and the Early Learning team to ensure an equitable system of services and opportunities for families in Eastern Washington.
- Support the development of other playgroups by communicating knowledge, ideas, and lessons learned.
- Maintain, update, and organize relevant data reports and tracking systems activities.
- Work with the Play and Learn team to plan and develop marketing and communication activities designed to increase community awareness and participation.
- Assist in providing relevant education for parents, caregivers, and early learning professionals.
- Research and share community resources, services, and opportunities for children and families.
Requirements:
- BA or AA in ECE, Education, Child Development, or a related field and at least two years' experience working in Early Childhood Education are required.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends several times throughout the month as needed and scheduled.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivate, prioritize work & manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain timely documentation/data entry into the electronic data tracking system.
- Strong competency working both in a team setting & independently.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to act in a professional manner.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to give & receive critical feedback.
- Ability to work occasional evening & weekend hours.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural relevancy, diversity & inclusion.
- Computer literate & proficient in using all Microsoft Office programs.
- Must have current, valid driver’s license, insurance, access to reliable transportation & ability to pass ongoing background checks.
