Job Summary:
Chattahoochee Hospice is a nonprofit agency providing patient care to the residents of Chambers, Lee, and Randolph counties in Alabama, and Troup and Harris counties in Georgia. We are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement Coordinator with broad-based nursing experience. The coordinator will plan, direct, and assist with the implementation of all aspects of the quality assurance, performance improvement, and education plans for the agency. The coordinator will perform patient chart audits to determine compliance with established policies and procedures, and governmental agency guidelines and regulations.
Skills / Requirements:
Current unrestricted Alabama and Georgia State license to practice as a registered nurse.
At least two years of professional medical-surgical, telemetry, or ICU nursing experience required with one year of hospice or home health care experience preferred.
At least one year of QAPI experience is preferred. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Efficient, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
Must be available to participate in the nurse on-call rotation schedule.
