CHG Catering & Events is looking for friendly and reliable individuals to join our team! As the first point of contact, our Team Members are responsible for promptly greeting and assisting our customers. In this position, delivering excellent customer service will be your main objective.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare food and beverages utilizing the company recipes and portion standards
- Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards
- Responsible for accepting payment from guests and making change as necessary
- Responsible for memorizing the product menu available
- Assist in clean up and break down at the end of shift
- Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Ensures all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including all limited offers and promotions
- Stock inventory as needed
- Promptly and courteously greet customers and take order for food and beverage products
- Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items
- Assist in preparing food and beverages utilizing the company recipes and portion standards
- Maintain cash register following proper cash-handling procedures
Qualifications and Skills Sought:
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, and guests in a clear, respectful manner while generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, understand menus and company standards as well as converse comfortably with individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
