We are seeking a candidate who has high standards and is effective in building relationships with staff, parents, and children. This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Overseeing the operations of the curriculum for the school and working closely with the team to provide a seamless, efficient workflow process.
- Assisting the teachers to make sure the curriculum is applied and implemented correctly.
- working closely with upper mgt on audits and making sure that daily operation duties are performed.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be CPR/First Aid Certified
- Must be able to work 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Or 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM shifts during the week, Monday-Friday.
- Ability to relate positively with young children, ages 3 months to 10 years of age.
- Previous education or operations Coordinator or Enrichment Team Lead Experience preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to effectively conduct activities with young children and to effectively supervise children.
- Ability to maintain the utmost self-control and patience and to exhibit a positive tone and behavior with the young children in our care.
- The good judgment to notify supervisors of anything that merits their attention.
- Strong verbal/oral communication skills. The ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally.
- Solid written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment particularly in a crisis.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Physical stamina -- must be able to bend, stand, sit on the floor, etc.
- Must meet basic requirements of a childcare regulatory agency to maintain a safe environment for children
- Knowledge about the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children based on education, past work experience, or as a parent or caretaker of a child.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the workplace including the ability to communicate with students, parents, and others effectively and professionally.
- Flexibility & Adaptability.
- Previous teaching with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, childcare center, summer day camp or church nursery for at least 1 year required.
- Ability to train teachers on in classroom concepts such as classroom management, curriculum, classroom arrangement, etc. while staying on task with Montessori Reggio Academy and State of Texas minimum standards.
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Process and Run Payroll and audit staff time cards
- Maintain Staff information for Benefits
- Over see and process bills and operational items and audits.
Position will be both an in classroom and leading our front desk mix, assisting the Director and Owner of the School to deliver the best in industry curriculum and education for our students. You will be provided with a mobile laptop that you can work.
