In-Home Sales Representative
At Mountain West Stairlifts, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a professional In-Home Sales Representative (IHSR) to close sales with need, and timing qualified prospects/opportunities that will benefit from our products and services. As the primary line of communication with a prospect/opportunity, the ideal IHSR has a strong understanding of, and complies with, our professionally designed and ultra-successful sales process. They excel at quickly establishing trusting relationships with prospects, converting opportunities into sales, and closing on the first visit. The IHSR should be a quick learner who has very strong communication skills and complete comfort interacting with senior, disabled, and professional individuals. They must consistently perform against aggressive quota and Budgets. Every potential customer represents an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability - owning and closing the sale will be your role.
- Travel to pre-scheduled appointments.
- Meet multiple budget, authority, need, and timing qualified prospects in their homes on a daily basis
- Immediately establish a trusting relationship with prospects
- Thoroughly assess their needs, and requirements.
- Recommend the correct stairlift for their individual situation based on our installed base of 12,000+ units
- Overcome all objections utilizing our professionally designed and field-proven sales process
- CLOSE the sale, COLLECT a deposit, and transfer customer to installation and service
- Participate in design and refinement, and follow a process to ensure the sales process is effectively tracked, monitored, and optimized
- Provide timely reporting on the status of all appointments and sales, including reports.
- Reliably deliver against very aggressive Goals.
Desired skills & experience & qualifications

- 5 or more years experience as an In-Home Sales Representative Required - Examples Include: Elevators/Stairlifts/Accessibility, Residential Aluminum Services, Remodeling/Renovation, Residential Major Mechanical Systems, Pre-paid Mortuary Services, Insurance, Home Warranties, Reverse Mortgages,
- Demonstrated and documentable ability to make first-visit in-home closes
- Demonstrated and documentable track record of meeting and exceeding very aggressive goals.
- Professional presentation, demeanor, and demonstrable attitude of putting the customer first
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong attitude for learning and assimilation of technical knowledge
- Ability to work independently, as well as a team player
- Motivated, self-starter
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

- Commission only
- Uncapped commission
