Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of technical skills and possess strong leadership abilities. Responsibilities:
- Direct the general day-to-day operations that include managing and supervising the administrative and operational activities of the organization.
- Identify and monitor program/ project requirements and plans, to include resources through the life cycle of complex programs.
- Support the Director with the accountability for the organization, direction, and management of SPR and all assigned resources.
Skills:
GS-15: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (4) of the (5) duties listed below:
- Utilizing organizational management expertise to provide technical direction and/or planning oversight that cuts across a department, agency, state or local government, commission or non-government organization;
- Advising organizational leadership in the areas of administration, policies, plans, and/or programs related to public health emergencies or disasters;
- Providing direction to organization or office activities to advise or participate in decisions regarding allocation of resources (i.e. personnel or fiscal);
- Resolving major policy and strategy conflicts within the organization;
- Overseeing the implementation of major program modifications to accommodate changing priorities or new initiatives.

Pay: $163,964.00 - $191,900.00 per year
