The Warehouse Lead will assist the Warehouse Manager in daily operations along with pro-longed projects. Keeping in mind that
the daily routine of pulling and staging items is priority, always having projects and cleanliness at top of mind to keep the other
teammates engaged and busy during downtime. Delegating tasks to individuals is key along with having the warehouse staff cross
trained in other areas of the warehouse in the event there is an overload of work in a certain area for the day. Overall, the
Warehouse Lead will supervise and upkeep the warehouse and everyone in it, whether warehouse associates or not. All the while
bringing a fun and safe environment for the warehouse staff to perform their daily duties.

Check in daily sales and compare the system and the contract for accuracy. Correct any discrepancies in the system

Ensure that “Pull Lists” are up to date and prepared the day before
-
Requests packing slips for incoming trucks in advance and compiles cart list for windows and doors
-
Assists Window Team locate and pull windows as necessary

Reallocates teammates to different duties
-
Receives and catalogs all incoming units and items
-
Ensures Warehouse team is productive and plan additional projects for down time
-
Ensure that all safety standards are met
-
Follow up daily activities with the second shift lead to ensure smooth transition and communication

Post shift email to Warehouse Manager

Identify all trucks that have arrived and need cleaning and to be loaded
-
Daily inventory checks for flat trim, box trim, sealant, consumables, etc.

Organizes and cleans install cage
-
Ensures Warehouse team is productive and plan additional projects for down time
-
Ensure that all safety standards are met
-
Post shift email to Warehouse Manager

Experience / Education

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse required

Current OSHA Forklift Certificate preferred
