We provide standardized patients (simulated patients, often experienced actors) to area medical schools and hospitals as part of their training.Please note: We are *NOT* involved in actual patient care.
We are looking for someone who can:
Assist with scheduling and planning standardized patient events.
Maintain the project management database
Provides coverage on site for projects in Boston starting as early as 7 am.
Work with Executive Director to expand the use of SP methodology and simulation.
Maintain the standardized patient directory.
Maintain event calendar.
Update standardized patient manuals.
Interview, hire, and assist with training new standardized patients.
This job handles confidential testing and training materials. You will report directly to the Executive Directors.
Proficiency with Zoom, Excel, MS Word, required. Google Workspace and Canva experience preferred.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Capable of establishing priorities.
A high degree of initiative and independent decision-making.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential testing material.
Experience with program planning, implementation, learner feedback, and evaluation preferred.
Bachelor's Degree or in the process of earning your degree strongly preferred.
2-3 years experience in an administrative or higher education setting preferred
An interest in human simulation, medicine, and/or standardized patient methodology is recommended.
If you have a background in theater, stage management, or working for a university in an administrative role, some of those same skills can apply here.
While some of the work can be done remotely, you do need to be within driving distance to Boston to manage projects on site at times.
