Qualifications
- Has 2 years experience as an RBT and active certification.
- Has a Bachelor's Degree.
- Willing to continue taking subject classes related to Applied Behavior Analyst.
- Communicates effectively and efficiently.
Bay Area Behavior Consultants, LLC primary outcome is to provide the maximum level of independence and community integration for each patient. The responsibilities of the Program Supervisor position are as follows:
Responsibilities, Duties, and Essential Requirements of the Job
- Work alongside a team of professionals providing high-quality ABA services to children and adults with various developmental disabilities
- Work under the direction of a BCBA to provide support to families and individuals with behavioral excesses and deficits.
- Oversee in-home- ABA services (under the supervision of a BCBA) by providing supervision to Behavior Instructors.
- Provide ongoing parent training to ensure the transfer of stimulus control to parents.
- Develop treatment plans targeting client areas of deficit, develop data collection systems, and conduct IOA to ensure treatment fidelity
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments for new clients.
- Conduct Functional Analyses and develop Behavior Support Plans- monitor implementation and ensure effective strategies are utilized.
- Participate in staff professional development by developing training material to present to Behavior Instructors.
- Provide supervision to RBTs.
- Develop professional relationships by collaborating with other team members and service professionals.
- Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and the BABC Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
- Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include client physical aggression.
- Completes daily paperwork and data collections notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner.
- Assume Behavior Technician responsibilities in their absence to avoid patient to miss treatment session.
- Follows Bay Area Behavior Consultants, LLC policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver’s License, DMV report, and auto insurance.
- 90-day probation period effective first day of employment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Program Supervisor Roles and Policies
Scheduling
- Make attempts to schedule sessions and overlap with your Clinical Director (CD).
- Make every attempt to maximize your client’s contracted hours (if possible).
- Submit time requests in advance notice as possible to CD and Executive Director (ED).
Client Cancellations
- If your client cancels a session you are attending, try to see another client if possible.
Reports
- Start a new template for every reauthorization reports.
- Check with Clinical Director and parents for new goals.
- Check with your client’s insurance regarding sending reports for reauthorization.
- For most insurance companies, reports are due a Month before the last day of treatment to prevent any lapse in treatment.
- Write the report Two Weeks prior to the due date for CD revisions and approval.
- Once it is approved by the Clinical Director, email it to the Executive Director and CC’ Michelle and Juan on the email.
Assessments
- Vineland-III, Comprehensive form for parent/caregiver
- Conduct assessment a month before writing a report to assess the client’s skill level and to propose new goals.
- When proposing new goals probe to obtain a baseline.
- Professionalism
- Dress code; business casual, but also be prepared to move around in your outfit.
- Present yourself confidently and calmly when speaking with family, if you are unsure on how to respond tell them you will collaborate with the Clinical Director on the question, concern or issue.

Working Hours
- Full-time 25 hours and no more than 40 hours a week.
- Hybrid: 80% remote per month % at least 20% in-person per month.
- During working hours, be prepared to answer phone calls, emails and texts promptly.
Home Visits
- Check-in with parent(s) or guardian(s) and staff
- Have monthly meetings with parent(s) or guardian(s) to discuss the progress of the client.
- Ensure that all policies are being adhered to during the session.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
